A little about Nancy:
I started scrapbooking almost 11 years ago before my first daughter was even a year old. I walked into a scrapbook store with my SIL, who was already an avid scrapbooker, and was amazed by all the fun papers and stickers. I was hooked right then and there!
With an education in Graphic Art and Design, my love for photography, and my desire to capture and record my daughters every waking moment, scrapbooking seemed the perfect fit. I soon started working at that same scrapbook store teaching classes and sharing my passion for this "little hobby of mine". While at the store, I was able to meet other people working in the scrapbooking industry and was soon asked to be on the Paperkuts Magazine DT. Not long after that, I was asked to assist in the writing of two idea books by Chatterbox. That led to quite a few other opportunities, including being asked to be on the Ivy Cottage Magazine DT, co-authoring the Scrappers Idea Book, being featured in two other idea books by Kalmback Publishing and Martingale Publishing, Guest Designer spots with EK Success, Fredrix Artist Canvas, The Vintage Workshop, and Delta Crafts. I have also been on DTs for Fibers By The Yard, Inque Boutique, and I am most proud of my work with Sticker Studio as their Head Designer.
I currently work as a Designer for Best Creation. I have traveled all across the country teaching at scrapbooking retreats and conventions, and have met so many wonderful people who also share my passion for this "little hobbie of mine"! My new loves are online shopping for the newest supplies here at A Million Memories, and blogging about my latest scrapbooking adventures at Scraps & Ink. I live in the beautiful foothills of Idaho with a very handsome and supportive husband, two wonderful daughters, one faithful dog, and four spoiled cats.
Please join me in welcoming Nancy as our February designer. I am sure you all are as excited as I am to see the wonder she works with the February A Million Memories kit!!
Use flowers to make the leaves of a tree
Add flowers to a grapevine wreath to celebrate Christmas or any season.
Make a necklace - you can change the flower to match your mood!
Create holiday ornaments using flowers as an accent or to cover an entire ball.
String some garland using pretty beads in between the flowers
Some ideas to decorate the center of the flowers :
Brads, Buttons, Beads, Stickles, Liquid pearl, Wire, chipboard, etc…
