Custom Embellishments

Love those little clipart images in your Word program? Want to know how you can use them as custom made embellishments? I did this to make the number spots I used in my Daily December album and it will provide you with countless little embellishments and tags to use on your layouts.

First you need to punch out or use a die cut machine to get the shape you want to put the clipart on. I used my Cricut to cut out a scallop edge circle that is set at 2 ½ inches. Then, in your Word program, insert a clipart picture onto the document. You can size it as appropriate.
As an extra to the clipart, I added a circle outline with the clipart centered using the drawing toolbar.

Print out your image.

Place your punched or die cut piece over top of the printed one using light adhesive. I use adhesive tabs.Place the paper back in your printer paper tray to run through the printer again. Be sure to check how your printer feeds the paper in so that you print right over top of the die cut or punch-out. Peel the die cut or punch-out off of the printer paper and voila! You have a custom made embellishment.
