Little Something Sunday with Tonya Dirk
Need a quick card for a special occassion or just to say "hi" to a friend. Try making this one by Tonya Dirk.
Instructions:
1) Make a 5x7 card base out of cardstock
2) Cut ten 2x2 inch squares out of patterned paper
3) Ink and distress all of the edges of all of the squares
4) Adhere nine of them to the card, the squares on the right and left edges will hang off, turn the card over and cut off the overhang
5) Machine stitch a zigzag stitch along the bottom and top edge of the squares, or you could use faux stitches with a a rub on or draw them on
6) Adhere felt flower to card, and decorate with some hand stitching
7) Use Crackle paint on chipboard leaves, once dry ink up and then adhere to card
8) Apply 1 1/2" circle of patterned paper to last square and then apply a sentiment to that. Adhere to card using pop-dots.
