December Design Team Scraplifts

With our last scraplift of the year we have design team members, Kat, Rachel, Lucy, Stacy, and Staci who chose to scraplift member Sasha Holloway who created the layout below. She was recently a guest designer for October Afternoon and here is one of her creations.

Here is what the design team came up with. First up is this layout by Lucy Edson.
"Brother" by Lucy Edson
Lucy said, "Sasha's use of cardstock and rounded edges creates a clean strong design to layer your elements on, I don't usually think of rounded edges and really liked the results here. I also noticed that she uses a lot of smaller rectangular photos so I wanted to mimic that and the variety of layering under the photo. Thanks for the inspiration, Sasha!"

Next is Kat Glossop. Kat said, "I love Sasha’s clean bold style. I drew inspiration from this, her rounded corners and popped up circles. I tried to rein in the busy tone my layouts usually take on, and love the result. Thanks Sasha!"
"Magical" by Kat Glossop

Next is this lift by Staci Taylor who said, "I loved the energy and eye catching design of Sasha's layout! My favorite design element on her page is the popped up circles, so I chose to replicate that. I also used journaling strips similar to hers. Thanks for the inspiration, Sasha!"
"What Is It With Kids And Hats?" By Staci Taylor

Next up is this layout by Staci Cohen who said, "I just love Sasha’s design sense. All of her pages have such great composition and placement, and this layout of hers is no exception. I was inspired by the way Sasha anchored her photo and the papers to the right side of her page. I also love all the great layering."
"Mumsie" by Staci Cohen
Last but not least is Rachel Hall who said, "For my scraplift of Sasha's layout I chose to focus on certain key elements such as her layering, strong single photo, and layering of paper embellishments to create a very visually pleasing design. I loved the little details in the original layout such as the scattered circles, and the text paper that has two corners rounded rather than all four for a unique look, full of varying shapes and textures for a beautiful design."
"Beautiful Butterfly" by Rachel Hall
Thanks for the inspiration Sasha and design team girls. Be sure to upload your projects to the gallery often for a chance to have your layout lifted by the AMM design team!
