Technique Tuesday with Larissa Albernaz!

Today Larissa is going to show us how to make a super cute little recipe mini album. Take it away Larissa....

I´ll show you today how to prepare recipe book with a collage background paper.

First, for the front and back covers you´ll need 2 pieces of cardboard (7.0” x 9.5” each).
Then, cut out the elements shown below: the girl with the recipe book and the brown scalloped edge strip from the “Mom´s Ingredients” paper; the “Whole Cherries” label from the "Let´s Celebrate” paper and, finally, cut out some pieces of paper of various sizes and patterns.
Cut out two pieces of paper (7.0" x 9.5”) to cover the internal side of the covers.

Glue the pieces of paper to the cardboard. I used gel medium but you can work with your favorite glue.

When you finish covering all the surfaces get your brayer and spread some acrylic paint over the cover.

Turn over the cardboard and glue the 7.0” x 9.5” piece of paper for the inside of the covers. Repeat the action on the back cover.

With your crop-a-dile, punch 3 holes which will hold your recipes. Finish up by decorating the front cover. Add the other cut-out elements and some embellishments.

Now you can put in your favorite recipes!
If you want to add some extra cuteness to your recipe album or other projects check out these super cute little rolling pins Michelle has in the shop. They measure about 5 inches in length. Just click here to find them in the store.
Hurry though, because there are only four left!
