Making Flowers from a Bath Sponge
Take a tulle sponge, also known as a loofah, and unwrap it.

Then cut a little piece from it.

Next take a thread and sew all around the cut piece. (I used some white thread so you can see it better.)

Then fold it together and you will have a tulle flower.

I used it on this layout and mini.

Now that is some creative re-purposing! Thanks Corien!
