Little Something Sunday with Kat Glossop

It's winter in Australia and I am longing for the warmer months, the days at the beach, the gorgeous summer sun *sigh*

So I picked through some photos from last Summer and came across this beautiful photo of my niece. I wanted to highlight the beautiful day that it was with the sun being the focal point of the page.


I gathered together a bunch of yellow fabric and embellishments.



I then arranged them in a circle.


I then machine stitched in a spiral motion across the collage.


Next I added the buttons, brads and bulkier embellishments and the felt rays.


This collage effect can be done with any shape. H ope you're inspired and enjoy the beautiful summer weather!
