Embroidery Floss Storage
Today I'm going to share a super simple way to store your embroidery floss. I love vintage items and I found this super cute vintage dominoes box with a complete set of black wooden dominoes. I took the dominoes out and threw them into my box for black embelishments and decided to keep the box on my desk.
It didn't take long to decide that I wanted to store my floss in that cute little box. I took an 8x10 plastic weaver's sheet and cut it down to several rectangles that were 6 squares wide and 12 squares long. Then I cut out notches in the sides to hold the floss.
I try to keep one of each color in the box and any extra's I keep in my sewing basket.
Now I just need to make something to fit into the lid that will hold my embroidery needles.
